Dr. Kjersten Skjold, a physical therapist originally from Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Cornerstone University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota. In 2023, Dr. Skjold founded NeuroRx Physical Therapy with a mission to help patients recover from pain and injury by addressing the underlying causes of their movement challenges. Passionate about keeping people active and strong, Dr. Skjold provides compassionate, goal-driven care tailored to each individual. With extensive experience in orthopedic and neurological conditions, she specializes in helping patients rebuild strength and mobility while aiming for long-term resilience. Dedicated to educating her patients, she offers guidance and tools to help them redefine their health and prevent future issues through an active lifestyle. Known for her strategic and results driven approach, she believes intention, consistency, and positivity are key to success. She will be in your corner 110%.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Skjold enjoys weightlifting, CrossFit, hiking, cross-country skiing, backpacking, and exploring the outdoors with her wife Anya and their two black labs, Riley and Kenai.
